You must be 21 or order to purchase alcohol. By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 21. We require someone over 21 to be present for all pick ups and deliveries.

Orders placed for pickup can be retrieved at our Greenfield taproom anytime it’s open. Click here to check our hours. While we can usually fill pickup orders very quickly, please allow up to 1 hour for your order to be prepped for pickup. You’ll get an email from us when your order is ready to be picked up. When you arrive, please give us a call at (910) 399-3100 and we’ll grab your order.

Please have your ID ready. The handles on your beer and anything that touches them is sanitized immediately prior to pickup.

Orders need to be picked up within 24 hours. We may cancel orders that are not picked up.

If you’d like to have someone else pick up your order, you’ll need to name them in the order notes, and we’ll need to see their matching ID when they arrive to pick up. Obviously, they’ll need to be 21 too.

If you’re purchasing a keg, we can only release a keg to the person holding the ID that matches the keg transportation form submitted during checkout.


Kegs sales work the same as our regular pickups, just with a little more paperwork (it’s the law). We can’t ship a keg. To release a keg to you, we’ll need to see that the number on your ID matches the number on the paperwork you submitted. We’ll give you a copy of the paperwork, and you’ll want to hang onto that while you’re taking the keg home.

We’re going to charge you the full amount of the keg shell cost as a deposit. Sorry, but those babies are expensive and sometimes grow legs. 1/6 BBL ($75) ½ BBL ($100). The keg deposit is added automatically at check out. If you buy beer that comes in a plastic keg, you will not be charged a deposit. Plastic kegs are disposable, and there’s no need to return them to the brewery when they’re empty.

When you return a keg, we’ll refund your deposit through our webshop. It helps if you have your order number handy.

If you’ve already got a New Anthem keg and are exchanging it, you’ll still be charged the deposit on the new keg during checkout, but you’ll see a refund for the returned keg as soon as we process the return.

We can only accept New Anthem kegs for return. If you’ve got empty kegs from other breweries, they’d love to have them back!


If you’re too far away to pick up, we may be able to ship your order to you. We can only ship beer to certain places legally. You’ll see the shipping option hidden automatically if your shipping address is out of our range.

Currently, we’re shipping beer to North Carolina only.

If you choose to have beer shipped to you, you’re representing that it’s legal for you receive beer at your location. You’re responsible for checking your local laws. We can’t ship to PO boxes, APO/FPO, or internationally.

Your beer shipment will require an adult signature for the carrier to release the package. You’ll need to show your ID to the driver. Since this means the driver can’t just leave the box on your front step, you may want to consider choosing your work address as the delivery address.

You own the beer you buy at the time of sale, and you’re responsible for shipping costs. You’re authorizing us to use a common carrier to deliver your order on your behalf.

Each beer shipping box holds 12 cans. We’ll ship smaller orders, but we encourage you to fill your box to get the most out of your shipment!

Our shipping costs are calculated to include transit to you as well as the cost of the adult signature service and the special packaging needed to get your beer to you safely.

We are not liable for damage to your order once it ships. If your beer arrives damaged, please take detailed photos immediately and reach out to us so we can work with the carrier to resolve the situation.

Once your payment is received, we’ll do our best to get your order shipped out as soon as possible, typically within 3 days. Your beer stays in cold storage until the moment it goes on the truck. Shipments leave our brewery Monday through Friday, and you’ll receive notification and tracking info via email when your order ships.
